ABOUT THE CHOIR

A New Adventure

The Keller Civic Chorus has its origins in the annual Music of the Masters Concert performed by Keller High School. For over a decade, family members of KHS students have been invited to sing in concert with the high school's combined choirs and orchestra. In 2023, Zach Steele broadened the invitation to all members of the Keller community and named the resulting choir the Keller Civic Chorus with a desire for it someday to sustain beyond a single October concert. As luck would have it, our current director, Thomas Quinlivan was a member of the 2023 ensemble, and he quickly volunteered to direct the group for a spring concert. KCC performed its inaugural spring concert in May 2024, and we look forward to many more performance opportunities to come.

Leadership Team

The Keller Civic Chorus would not exist without the hard work of our leadership team.  These volunteers work tirelessly to further KCC's mission of excellence and service by assisting with everything from setting up chairs to handling the choir's finances.
